Girls on the Run

Good Luck, Tanya!

As the saying goes, “every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end,” and that couldn’t ring truer as today marks our friend and colleague, Tanya Frazee’s last day with Girls on the Run Georgia. Tanya is transitioning out of her role as Development Director at Girls on the Run Georgia to take on a new role as Director of Individual Giving with Girls on the Run International.

Tanya has been a part of our team for nearly eight years. Starting out as our part-time office manager, she began taking on grant writing and small fundraising projects. As she increased her hours, demonstrated her incredible writing and relationship-building skills, and as our team grew, she began focusing solely on fundraising. Tanya has helped create our development operations by writing grants; planning annual campaigns; launching our major donor circle, the Empower Giving Society; and engaging our staff, Board of Directors and Young Professionals Board in fundraising.

While we are sad to see her go, we’re so proud of her accomplishments and excited for her “new beginning” with Girls on the Run International where her new role will allow her to support ALL Girls on the Run councils in building their individual giving skills.

Tanya will remain in Atlanta and has assured us she will continue to coach her beloved F.Ave team in Decatur, so you’ll undoubtedly see her kind smile at future events and 5Ks. Thank you, Tanya for your service, and congratulations on this great opportunity!
